Ferric Carboxymaltose
Ferric Carboxymaltose (FCM) is a novel iron complex Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient that consists of a Ferric hydroxide core stabilized by a carbo-hydrate shell allows for controlled delivery of iron to target tissues. FCM is effective in treatment of Iron Deficiency Anemia by delivering a large dose of iron with low side effect profile during a minimum administration time.
